Conference calls need not be a drag.

You’re all set for one of the most important pitches to your management team over a conference call. Your slides are primped right down to the last pie chart. The last thing you’ll ever want to hear is “You’re breaking up. Could you repeat your point again?”, thus breaking the momentum that you’ve been building up over the weeks of preparation, as you rush to resolve the issue.

Poor audio or mic quality, especially during high-profile corporate video calls, affects how people perceive you as an effective communicator. It makes it hard to keep concentration levels up, and it definitely doesn’t help you have productive calls. But as inevitable as it may sound, these situations can be avoided.

The perfect add-on to your conference call.

If you think that the built-in mic on your laptop or phone suffices, think again. Due to their fixed position near the keyboard, these mics pick up excessive background noise, particularly typing noises, which makes it incredibly difficult to take notes. And the list goes on – your desktop fan, the construction works outside, or even your kids yelling over who can have the last jello.

There are countless solutions in the market, many of which are targeted at group conference calls from a single meeting room. But as we move on to telecommuting, what about the remote worker? And where do you start?

Our Sound Blaster G3 is a portable USB audio DAC and amp that is designed to help you sound more professional and communicate clearly. All you need to do is to plug in the Sound Blaster G3 to your PC or Mac, connect it with your headphones that comes with a built-in mic, and change your video call app’s audio settings.

Voila! You’re good to go. There’s really no need for overly complicated multi-steps setup, who’s got the time (or money) for that?

Step 1

Plug in the Sound Blaster G3 to your PC or Mac via the USB port

*If your device comes with a USB-A port, don’t worry, we’ve included a USB-C to USB-A converter with the Sound Blaster G3
